I joined Symes Bains Broomer in July 2021 as the Business Administration Assistant, where I completed a wide range of administrative tasks. I also completed my Business Administration Apprenticeship, receiving a distinction.
In March 2023, I progressed into a secretarial role within the Family Department, where I have worked closely with fee earners, expanding my knowledge and skills in family law. Working in the Family Department I assist in all stages of cases, providing support in areas such as preparation, client communication and drafting legal documents. I also get the opportunity to shadow counsel in court, gaining more experience and observing courtroom procedures firsthand. I listen to and sympathise with our clients to try and make sure we make their situation as smooth sailing as possible without added stress.
I have also completed my Paralegal Apprenticeship within the Family Department, receiving a distinction overall.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling to new places and spending time with family and friends.
