Conveyancing Executive

I started my career in law working for a sole practitioner solicitor in 2001. I mainly did residential conveyancing along with some wills and probate work. In 2006, I joined the Heptonstalls residential conveyancing team as a fee earner where I stayed until joining Symes Bains Broomer late last year. I am assisted by Tracy Lumb, together we make a great team.

Since 2006, I decided to specialise only in residential conveyancing and have built up local knowledge and a good reputation in the area with many repeat clients and also acting for their own friends and family. I like my job as you never stop learning, a new issue to resolve comes up every week and you get to interact with many different people.

My biggest achievement in law was when my colleagues and I won the Best In County and the Gold award in the ESTAS conveyancer awards in London.  It was nice to be rewarded for our hard work.

The best piece of advice I have ever received is - if a jobs worth doing its worth doing well. I always try to do my best for all my clients and from the great positive feedback, I receive from my clients on TrustPilot and Review Solicitors etc. my clients do fully appreciate the conveyancing service they receive from me. Moving home can be very stressful but using a good local firm of solicitors can really help with this.

I would like to go to Australia and see where my family used to live. In my spare time, I love spending time with family and friends.
