I studied Law and Criminology at the University of Derby and graduated in 2013 with a 2:1. I have always been passionate about helping people and giving them a voice so I decided to progress straight to my Legal Practice Court at Staffordshire University, to enable me to qualify as quickly as possible. I graduated with a Merit and began my career in a couple of firms in Cheshire.
After moving back home to Lincolnshire, I started at a firm in Lincoln where I progressed from a Paralegal through to a qualified Solicitor and beyond, over a (nearly!) 7-year period. I spent a total 6 years practicing Personal Injury law before moving to my dream area of Children. After 18 months of learning and progressing on cases involving domestic abuse, care and children work, I moved to Symes Bains Broomer in July 2022.
I dedicate my work to achieving the best possible outcome for my clients and aim to be approachable, respectable and kind. I pride myself on being realistic and honest whilst always being aware that my client’s may have devastating backgrounds that need careful attention.
Outside of work I spend time running a Brownie unit, attending church and challenging myself and my fitness. I love sport, of all kinds, but I especially follow Chelsea Football Club and Mercedes Formula One Team. My family are my world and I love nothing more than an Autumn Saturday afternoon on the sofa with my Niece and Husband watching a Disney film and drinking a hot chocolate.
