Wills and Probate Solicitors
Our Wills and Probate team are long established specialists in their field and can provide information and guidance on a wide variety of topics that affect you and your family. We are based at all three of our offices ensuring provision of our specialist services across a wide geographical area.
The team’s main aim is to be approachable and caring whilst being professional and informative. We appreciate that many people may never have needed legal advice before and at times of loss or illness seeking legal advice can be very daunting. Therefore, we make sure that you will always receive a friendly, warm welcome from our team. Another aim of our Team is to ensure that, first and foremost, we listen to your concerns whilst providing you with vital legal knowledge in plain English.
Our Team can guide you through the process of preparing a will or amending an existing will. We are also experienced in all aspects of elderly client, addressing the taboo subjects of frailty, losing capacity and entering care in a sensitive and compassionate way. A further key role of our experienced Team is to provide vital advice to family members on the death of a loved one. We can provide a caring and supporting service throughout the probate process. Crucially, we realise that a lot of the areas that our Team cover are interlinked. For instance, the issue of making a will goes hand in hand with inheritance tax and we can guide you through the process of minimising future tax liability as part of this advice.
Much of the work that we undertake is on a fixed fee basis, such as the majority of our wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. We will always ensure that we discuss the issue of costs at the outset of your matter by providing either a fixed fee or a costs estimate. We always ensure that our pricing remains competitive with other providers in the local area.
